CTEVT

The CTEVT entrance preparation exam is conducted by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training in Nepal for students who wish to enroll in technical and vocational programs such as diploma and certificate-level courses. The main purpose of this exam is to evaluate students’ basic academic knowledge and aptitude to ensure they are capable of pursuing technical education. The exam is generally based on the SEE-level syllabus and includes subjects like Mathematics, Science, English, and General Knowledge. It is usually conducted in an objective format with multiple-choice questions, typically around 100 questions to be completed within one and a half to two hours. Each question usually carries equal marks, and in most cases, there is no negative marking. The results are used to prepare a merit list for admission into various fields such as engineering, health sciences, agriculture, and hotel management. To prepare effectively, students should focus on strengthening their fundamental concepts, practicing MCQs, and managing their time efficiently during the exam.
